Hollidell Finver Morningstar, better known as Holly

Much to her dismay, Holly was born into House Morningstar, which even she can see is full of assholes. Not much liking the idea of politics in general, and those of her house in particular, she's developed a bit of a rebelious streak, which shows itself in the petty thievery she's commited thoughout the house. There are a series of passageways in the walls of House Morningstar that Holly has either created or discovered (it's a bit of both) which she uses to get into the more affluent residents rooms. Not that the girl is in need, it's just some way to "fight the power."
Unlike almost everyone else in the House, she hasn't actively done anything to harm poor Yazooth. In fact, she kinda feels like she should do something for the guy, if only to thumb her nose at the bastards she is loosly related to. Naturally, when the opportunity arises, she gets herself and Yazooth out of their house and off, somewhere.
Another method she had of dealing with her less than stellar living situation was immersing herself in whatever books she could get her hands on. She found the stash of "courtly love" books in her mothers closet, and her mother was too embarassed to report the books missing. From these, and the other books Holly got her hands on, she's developed a very romantic sense of the world outside of her house, including knights in shining armor, brave adventureres (which she imagines herself to be at this point) and, of course, true love. Because of the kind of things her mother had stowwed away, though, she's got a bit of a skewed sense of what that can be. Clearly, true love can never exist without some dissaproval on the part of society in general or, in Holly's mind, the House full of punks she left. And what would her family dissaprove of more than a half-drow?

Engagement! What now?
