What a change after thirty years shut away in a Library. Raseine was the expert on the Koretheon Cycle in the White Tower, so it only made sense that she be sent to keep an eye on one of the men suspected to be the Dragon Reborn. Between keeping a careful eye on the Dragon, teaching his sister how to do things like read, write, and channel, carefully not keeping an eye on Christabal's exploits, keeping everyone on track and still trying to retain her sanity, Raseine's plate is just about full.
Fortunately for the Dragon and everyone else involved, Raseine is skilled in making the impossible happen. Any woman who can say "Let's clean the Male Half of the source today, kids," over tea, then complete the task that afternoon, would certainly be an asset to any group. After learning to heal stilling, Raseine was made an honorary sister of the Yellow Ajah.
While most Brown sisters never get a warder, Raseine has had two. Darien, who shared her love for history, specifically the legend of the Horn of Vallere, was released from the bond when he wished to train with Masrim Taim at the Black Tower. Arsden was bonded in order to better shield his dreams from the "fade" that haunted them. He has remained a loyal partner to Raseine to this day.
After a fiasco with her first Warder, Raseine started spending more time with Rand Al'Thor, when she could manage. Her curiosity about the lad became a budding relationship, and, though he still trains at the Black Tower, Rand has gone out of his way to stay with Raseine and her group of misfits.
