What should I do now? When I try to help someone, I fall more to darkness. I want always for death, but may not have it. Where is the justice now, Gaia? Where are my sons?
Sarah Dorian was the daughter of a human woman and a Bastet. Her older brother inherited the gift of shapeshifting, but she did not. Raised with a deep faith in Gaia, Sarah did what she percieved as Gaia's will, bearing three Bastet sons: James, Harold and Joseph. She earned a masters degree in linguistics, and went on to teach at Ohio State University. It was there that her sire found her.
He was a violent madman, obsessed with a woman who'd turned down his advances years ago. A serial killer. Sarah was close enough in appearance, and became his next, and last, victim. He broght her to his haven, starved her, tortured her, raped her, and when at last death came to relieve her suffering, he stole that from her, too. A master of languages (she was fluent in five and conversant in literally dozens more) Sarah lost them as well. Alone in a dark cell, she cried out to Gaia for help, or for anihilation.
Her prayers went unanswered.
Eventually, her sire's questionable allies turned against him, and a group of Kindred raided his haven, killing the man and freeing his prisoners. Ecgemund, a vampire just awoken from a thousand years slumber, stumbled upon Sarah, and took her away from that place. They met again in Sin City.
Edge passed away, along with Harke, Miah, Elaine, and closely followed by Roach.
